theme park is the largest animal-themed park in the world! High adventures with real exotic animals, close encounters with prehistoric giants and
warm, fuzzy moments with beloved Disney characters create unsurpassed fun. The Oasis entry garden welcomes guests into Disney's fourth major
theme park, which sprawls across 403 acres. Jungles, forests and a vast savannah are divided into five themed lands: Africa, Camp Minnie-Mickey,
DinoLand U.S.A., Discovery Island and Asia.

on the thrill ride DINOSAUR; enjoy time-warp adventures on the Primeval Whirl coaster and a whimsical twirl on TriceraTop Spin; let kids dig,
swing and giggle through The Boneyard dig site and prehistoric playground. At Theater in the Wild, a stage show with original songs and

animated film, “Finding Nemo.” Presented by McDonald's.

up close as they traverse the savanna
on the Kilimanjaro Safaris
Attractions at Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park include exciting expeditions and wild adventures with animals. Get close to creatures,
from the whimsical to the mighty, from feathered to fanciful. Use Disney's FASTPASS system on popular attractions to reduce wait times.
The Boneyard is where would-be paleontologists can play amid a world of dinosaur discoveries. Kids can wander through a maze, slide down covered slides,
climb among the rocks and explore to their heart's content. The soft cushiony floor makes for a safe area where kids can have fun and run free.
DINOSAUR - A routine visit to The Dino Institute museum is interrupted by a mischievous scientist with a secret mission. The scientist recruits
you to travel back to the Cretaceous era, 65 million years ago, to capture a mild-mannered Iguanodon and return to the present day with the
3.5-ton dinosaur in tow. Once you climb aboard an experimental CTX Time Rover, you'll want to buckle up. Time travel can be one turbulent trip!
Primeval Whirl is a spinning, mild but wild roller coaster-type ride in the DinoLand U.S.A. area. Big kids, teens and adults can take a whirl
in a spinning "time machine" car for dinosaur-themed excitement and thrills. In addition to sudden dips, hairpin turns and tight curves,
this coaster spins each car on its own round and round path. You never know which way your car will twirl as you race around,
making this ride a new experience each time.
TriceraTop Spin is a leisurely dinosaur flight for all ages in the DinoLand U.S.A. area. Climb into a 4-person dino vehicle and soar
around a giant top as cartoon comets fly past and friendly dinosaurs pop up. Little ones just might want to do the driving and make
their flying dinosaur go higher or lower while flying in a circle. Don't be surprised if something dino-sized rises from the giant top in the middle!
Expedition Everest in the Asia area is a high-altitude, high-speed, roller coaster train ride for big kids, teens and adults to the
"Roof of the World," home of the inhospitable snarling beast, the Yeti, at the mountain's peak.
Kali River Rapids is an adventurous river raft ride for big kids, teens and adults that journeys through the rainforest on the
churning Chakranadi River in the Asia area. Climb aboard a circular, 12-passenger raft and begin a 90-foot ascent past picturesque, lush jungle
and jasmine-scented mists. Then drop into gushing geysers and drift under refreshing waterfalls.
Maharajah Jungle Trek is a self-guided walking tour of native Asian wildlife in Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park. Adventure into the wilds
of the mystical Anandapur Royal Forest of Southeast Asia, a tropical paradise full of plants and trees, rushing waterfalls and wild animals.
Maharajah Jungle Trek features beautiful murals, crumbling ruins and colorful pennants representing the cultures of northern Asia.
The scents of jasmine and honeysuckle, and a fascinating assortment of unique animals, create a colorful, alluring environment.
Kilimanjaro Safaris, an attraction for Guests of all ages, provides the chance to see African animals including giraffes, black rhinos
and lions, as they roam the 100-acre savanna in the Africa area. The Kilimanjaro Safaris tour begins in the Harambe Wildlife Reserve, across
the river from Discovery Island. Climb aboard a rugged open-sided safari vehicle for an exciting expedition through the wildlife preserve.
The ride can be a bit bumpy as it crosses rickety bridges, rocky hills and rivers—but you're rewarded with spectacular animal sightings.
Pangani Forest Exploration Trail is a self-guided walking tour of native African wildlife. Pangani means "place of enchantment," and this
exploration trail is an enchanting adventure into a lush, tropical forest and a verdant valley that are right out of the heart of Africa.
Take a leisurely walk in search of rare African animals such as gorillas, hippos, okapi, naked mole rats, meerkats and many species of exotic birds.

and his grasshopper friend, Hopper, from the Disney·Pixar film A Bug's Life. The supporting cast consists of cute and creepy crawlers
like spiders, termites, beetles, weevils and butterflies
The Tree of Life, a sculpted 14-story (145-foot tall), 50-foot wide tree, is the centerpiece and icon in Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park.
Paths known as Discovery Island Trails weave around and through this homage to nature. Stroll the trails to see a swirling tapestry of 325
animals carved into the bark of this massive attraction. Look for creatures like Galapagos tortoises, lemurs and cotton-top tarmarins.
Mickey's Jingle Jungle Parade features
popular Disney Characters and their safari friends in
Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park
Entertainment at Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park includes elaborate parades, performances that feature nearly 20 species of birds and
big-as-Broadway musical-stage shows and Disney Character meet and greets. For show schedules, check the Park calendar or Times Guide.
Camp Minnie-Mickey Greeting Trails lead you to the places where Minnie, Mickey and their friends gather to pose for photos and
sign autographs in the Camp Minnie-Mickey area of Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park. Each Disney Character has a path along the Camp
Minnie-Mickey Greeting Trails. Follow the trail that leads to who you want to meet, and greet them with a smile for a fabulous photo,
or ask for their signature to add to your autograph collection.
Festival of the Lion King -- Animal heroes and villains of "The Lion King," one of the world's favorite classic Disney films,
star in this spectacle that combines the pageantry of a parade with the excitement of an African tribal celebration. Staged in a hexagonal
timber structure with the atmosphere of an Adirondack summer theater, the show puts the 1,375-guest audience right in the middle
of the excitement.
Finding Nemo-The Musical, -- The popular Disney-Pixar characters Nemo, Marlin, Dory, Crush and Bruce make big waves on stage with
original songs by Tony Award-winning "Avenue Q" co-composer-creator Robert Lopez and a cappella musical "Along the Way" co-creator
Kristen Anderson-Lopez. Elaborately costumed performers give voice and heart to larger-than-life animated puppets created by Michael Curry,
who co-designed the Broadway puppets of Disney's "The Lion King." During the 30-minute show, staged several times daily, Theater in the Wild
in DinoLand, U.S.A. becomes a vividly painted, whimsical undersea world through innovative lighting, sound, special effects, music,
animated projections and the imaginative theatrical puppetry.
Flights of Wonder -- The beauty and diversity of birds brings awareness and moments of humor at Caravan Stage outdoor amphitheater on
the edge of Asia. The setting for "Flights of Wonder" is a crumbling Asian town where macaws, ibis, pelicans and other birds emerge from
their alcoves to soar overhead. Which birds show off on any given day is part of the surprise, but all birds are being taught to show off
their natural talent, not "do tricks." Trainers demonstrate how birds respond to special audio or visual clues, how they hunt and eat.
"Flights of Wonder" entertains and inspires guests to a greater awareness of animals and what threatens them around the world.
Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Expedition parade winds through the park, a menagerie of abstract animal images comes to life in fun,
theatrical designs handcrafted from an eclectic mix of natural materials and fabrics. Soaring animated puppets and towering percussive
drum sculptures create bursts of living color against Disney's Animal Kingdom's dense jungle greenery. Elaborate rickshaw taxis put
selected guests in the middle of the parade, accompanied by Disney characters in customized musical safari vehicles. A troupe of 8-foot-tall
Party Animals and energetic Party Patrols interact with guests and direct them in the creation of the live call-and-response sing-along
music fest. Up to 23 special guests will be selected daily to ride in the opening unit, three guest rickshaws and the finale unit.
Guests are given Kodak disposable cameras so they can capture the special moment aboard the parade.
Dining at Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park means sampling American, African and Asian-inspired cuisines for breakfast, lunch and dinner
in restaurants that offer a range of experiences from quick-service to Character Dining to wildly themed. Disney chefs have plenty of menu surprises
in store for the animal-themed restaurants at Disney's Animal Kingdom, all featuring gazelle-paced service, interesting recipes, a generous
helping of innovative cooking methods and a colorful atmosphere in keeping with the exotic theme of each area. Just outside the entrance to the theme park
is Rainforest Cafe, remarkably re-creating the sights and sounds of a rainforest through a combination of live and animated wildlife and special effects.
The restaurant, featuring an assortment of casual dining menu items including pastas, salads, sandwiches and desserts, can be reached from both
outside and inside the park.
Discovery Island
- Pizzafari -- Chefs created a special pizza crust that is baked in an open-hearth oven with a variety of unusual toppings. The restaurant itself
is an outstanding artistic accomplishment -- walls are covered with animal murals and the ceiling is lined with colorful animal figurines.
- Flame Tree Barbecue -- Features wood-roasted meats with a choice of two original barbecue sauce flavors -- a tomato-based sauce and a mustard-flavored
creation -- plus a special dry marinade that is rubbed into the meat before cooking. Flame Tree Barbecue carries out the colorful artistic
theme of Discovery Island, with outdoor, riverside dining pavilions featuring hand-carved and painted animals.
DinoLand U.S.A.
- Restaurantosaurus is themed as a home-away-from-home for fun-loving paleontology students of DinoLand U.S.A. Dinosaur memorabilia and class
notes line the walls. "Nature students" living in the dorm keep guests happy with beverage refills. Presented by McDonald's, the restaurant
serves such favorites as Chicken McNuggets, Happy Meals, cookies, and, of course, famous McDonald's french fries. Disney chefs offer up a tempting
sandwich menu that includes hot dogs, hamburgers, sandwiches and cheeseburgers with a flavorful twist -- crock cheese instead of slices -- as well
as fresh tossed salads.
Africa
- Tusker House Restaurant in Harambe is a diverse African-inspired buffet for lunch and dinner with carved meats and an array of interesting
tastes such as chutneys, hummus, spiced tandoori tofu and couscous salad. More than a dozen South African wines are featured, many by the glass.
Donald’s Safari Breakfast is from 8-10 a.m. daily for dining with the Disney characters. Adjacent is the Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery for pastries
and favorite sweets.
Asia
- Yak & Yeti Restaurant offers table-service and a full-service bar. From a bamboo steamer basket of dim sum to crispy honey chicken and seared
miso salmon, Asian favorites are on the menu.
Animals have played an important part in Disney stories from the earliest Mickey Mouse films to the "True-Life Adventures" television series
in the 1950s to "The Lion King" in feature motion pictures. Disney is all about storytelling, and now, for the first time, real live animals help
tell the story as their fascinating families play out real-life experiences on nature's stage.

Next take a seat on Cheetah Hunt and join nature's fastest and most agile predator as it races across the Serengeti. Montu - Feel the ultimate rush on one of the tallest and longest inverted roller coasters in the world! Experience the thrill of an inverse diving loop and a 60-foot vertical loop while you endure speeds of more than 60 miles per hour and a G-force of 3.85.
Gwazi - Challenge the dueling forces of Gwazi: two wooden tracks intertwined into the Southeast’s largest and fastest double wooden roller coaster. Boasting more than 1.25 million board feet of lumber, Gwazi’s Lion and Tiger tracks offer two distinct ride experiences.
Cheetah Chase - Families will love the curves, drops and corkscrews of Cheetah Chase, a five-story “wild mouse” style coaster in Timbuktu. With its top speed of 22 mph and 46” height requirement, Cheetah Chase is the perfect ride for a child’s first coaster experience.

Jungle Flyers - Young adventurers choose from three different flight patterns to soar 50 feet above Jungala’s village.
Rhino Rally - Hop aboard a wild jeep tour that takes you through the wilds of Africa. It's an off-road adventure that combines the thrill of an African safari with the exhilaration of going up-close with exotic animals as you trek across the wide open veldt.
Congo River Rapids - Encounter the swift-flowing white water of the Congo River Rapids. Spin through a geyser and face an ominous waterfall and other thrilling obstacles in a 12-person raft.

Featured animals include Caribbean flamingos, lemurs, cuscuses, sloths and opossums.

Rides:
Manta - Inspired by the underwater flight of these powerful creatures, guests will fly face-down, in a horizontal position, underneath the belly of a coaster train shaped as a giant manta. With a wing span of 12 feet, the giant manta will soar over sea and sky in the most graceful flying coaster ever created.
Kraken - Orlando’s only floorless roller coaster – is themed after a massive, mythological underwater beast unleashed from the depths of the sea. Riders’ feet dangle as they travel in open-sided seats, riding on a pedestal above the track at speeds of 65 mph to heights of more than 140 feet.
Journey to Atlantis - This edge-of-your-seat water-coaster -- part water ride, part roller coaster -- thrill ride that plunges guests into the middle of a clash for the lost city of Atlantis. Riders encounter spine-tingling thrills, including two of the steepest, wettest and fastest drops to be found at any theme park in the world.
Wild Arctic - Wild Arctic takes guests on a thrilling, motion-based flight over the frozen North where they are enveloped in the beauty, exhilaration and danger of Arctic exploration. Stepping from the simulated jetcopter experience they enter a frozen wonderland with live beluga whales, walruses, harbor seals and polar bears.
Shamu's Happy Harbor, a children’s play area at SeaWorld, features fun for the entire family. Shamu Express is the park’s first family-oriented roller coaster. Themed after SeaWorld’s famous killer whale, the Shamu Express thrills children and parents alike while traveling down more than 850 feet of track at 26 mph. Jazzy Jellies lifts and spins families in over- sized seats, while Swishy Fishies enables adventurous youngsters to spin around a giant waterspout. Shamu’s Happy Harbor also features the Sea Carousel, the Flying Fiddler, a giant fiddler crab that descends vertically in a quick series of short drops and Ocean Commotion, a fanta-sea themed tug boat that swings passengers side to side. SeaWorld’s littlest guests can explore four stories of colorful climbing nets and tunnels, nine slippery slides and a splashy water maze.
SeaWorld SkyTower - The tower is the tallest observation tower in Florida at 400 feet, and contains a double decker rotating pod. The six minute ride will give you a bird's-eye view of entire park as far away as downtown Orlando. There is a fee in addition to park admission.
